Request deletion by email

Subject: Delete my Claimo account
What happens after your request?
- Identify the account. We check which account your request concerns. If you no longer have access to your account email, write from an address you can access and tell us the previous account address. If we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we ask only for the additional information needed to confirm it. Do not send passwords, verification codes or unsolicited copies of identity documents.
- Process your request. We delete your account and associated personal data without undue delay, unless a legally permitted exception applies. We inform you of the action taken within one month of receiving your request. If the complexity or number of requests makes an extension of up to two further months necessary, we explain the extension and its reasons within the first month.
- Receive an email response. If individual data must be retained temporarily, we explain which data, why, and for how long or the criteria for deletion. If deletion is fully or partly refused, we also explain your options for a complaint and judicial remedy.
What does account deletion mean for you?
When account deletion takes effect, your user relationship with Claimo ends. You lose access to the account and your app progress; deletion cannot be undone.
Under Section 11 of the App Terms of Use, any existing balance expires when account deletion takes effect. If you still want to request a payout, please do so beforehand where possible. Our support team can help by email with pending payouts or if you cannot access the app. Redeeming a reward or completing a payout is not a prerequisite for requesting deletion. Existing legally enforceable claims and mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
Uninstalling the app alone does not delete your Claimo account. Deleting your Claimo account does not close your Google, Facebook or PayPal account, or separate accounts with game or offer partners.
Which data is deleted?
Deletion covers personal data associated with your Claimo account, in particular:
- account, profile and authentication data, including email address, user ID, display name and login associations;
- balances, XP, level, streaks, tasks and other progress and reward data;
- wallet transactions, referral links, offerwall credits and associated callbacks;
- payout requests and related recipient and status data;
- settings, consent data, push tokens, notifications and identifiable delivery logs;
- identifiable support messages and device, IP and other security signals.
Only the exceptions explained below apply.
Which data may be kept temporarily?
We retain only the data needed for a legally permitted purpose. Your account is not merely deactivated. Other data outside the exception is deleted.
- Security record: Only if an account was blocked, showed an increased risk, requested payouts or had reversals, we keep a pseudonymised record: hash values created with a secret key of the former user ID and of the payout addresses and, in the case of a block, high risk or reversals, also of the devices, plus the account creation date, risk level and reasons, block status, and rounded counts of payouts, reversals, bonuses and referrals. It contains no name, email address or IP address. It is deleted automatically three years after the deletion, or after no more than 180 days if the account was deleted because the user was under 16.
- Device bonus record: The hash value of a device for which a welcome or referral bonus has already been granted remains, without any link to your account, for three years after the deletion, so that the same bonus cannot be obtained again by deleting the account and registering again.
- Partner credit records: We keep the transaction number, partner ID, amount and time without any link to your account, for settlement with the partner and to prevent duplicate credits.
- Statutory records: Where payout or transaction documents qualify as accounting vouchers subject to retention obligations, the period is generally eight years; business correspondence subject to retention obligations is kept for six years, and books and certain tax records for ten years (Section 147 of the German Fiscal Code and, where applicable, Section 257 of the German Commercial Code). The period generally starts at the end of the relevant calendar year. Legally required extensions remain possible. These periods apply to the necessary records, not automatically to your entire account.
- Pending matters and legal claims: Necessary individual records may be kept to settle pending payouts, handle specific fraud or abuse cases, or establish or defend legal claims, where a legal basis exists. We regularly review whether retention is necessary and delete the data once the purpose and any applicable statutory periods cease to apply.
- Deletion request and evidence: Necessary details of your request and its handling are kept only as long as needed to meet and demonstrate our legal obligations or defend legal claims.
Retained data is restricted to its specific purpose and is not used for advertising or continued active account use. Our response explains any data remaining in your individual case, including in backups where applicable, and when it will be deleted or the relevant criteria. Details and legal bases are in Section 17 of the App Privacy Policy.
We also arrange deletion with service providers processing data on our behalf. We notify other recipients as required by Article 19 GDPR. Where partners process data as independent controllers, their privacy rules also apply; we help you identify the relevant recipient for your request.

Your rights of access, rectification, restriction, objection and complaint to a data protection supervisory authority remain unaffected.
